Roner Kirschwasser

Gottfried Roner established the Roner distillery in Tramin on the wine road in 1946. The distillery specializes in producing high-quality fruit distillates, with their cherry water being particularly exceptional. Rigorous quality controls are implemented for the fruit used in production, which continues throughout the fermentation process. Each type of distillate is subjected to the most appropriate method of continuous or batch distillation. Following stabilization, the distillate undergoes filtration, resulting in a more harmonious and refined product. The fruity distillate is derived from fully ripe cherries, resulting in an intense cherry flavor infused with subtle hints of marzipan. It is then aged for one year in stainless steel containers, allowing the flavors to fully meld together. The full-bodied taste is impeccably balanced and leaves a long-lasting finish. It pairs excellently with young cheeses, cheese fondue, smoked meat, and game. A serving temperature of 5C is recommended.
