Scheibel Alte Zeit Orange - Schatzkammer Brandy

This limited edition Scheibel Alte Zeit Orange Brandy is part of the treasure chamber series produced by Scheibel distillery. It was refilled in 2021 to meet the high demand, with only 3000 bottles filled into the exclusive flask. The Scheibel distillery, located in the Black Forest, describes this liqueur as a modern addition to their brandy family, based on an old family recipe. To give it a Mediterranean flair, the brandy is infused with the finest blood orange spirit, cognac, and orange fruit juice. The distillery intentionally does not filter the Alte Zeit Orange Brandy in order to preserve the aromatic citrus oil of the blood orange, resulting in a naturally cloudy appearance. Like its counterparts, Scheibel Apricot Brandy and Scheibel Cherry Brandy, this liqueur rarity has an alcohol content of 35% vol. The exceptional quality of this Black Forest specialty can be detected through its captivating scent, featuring ripe blood oranges and a subtle sweetness. On the palate, it reveals a complexity of flavors and expressive orange notes, thanks to the use of blood orange spirit. The silky texture coats the palate, complemented by delicate citrus undertones. The finish is lightly oily and smooth, ideal for a premium liqueur. The distillery recommends serving this liqueur specialty at a temperature no higher than 18 degrees Celsius to fully appreciate its flavors.
