Scheibel Alte Zeit Wilde Bergkirsche

The Scheibel Alte Zeit Wilder Bergkirsch Edelbrand is a highly fragrant distillate made from mountain cherries found in the Black Forest. These cherries are different from the ones commonly eaten, as they have less flesh, ripen slowly, and develop a wide range of aromas. The distillery fills the Wilder Bergkirsch brand with a strong 44% alcohol by volume into a 700 ml flask. The aroma is intense and filled with ripe cherry scents, with a hint of almonds. Despite its high alcohol content, the taste is surprisingly mild, with an elegant cherry note accompanied by dark chocolate and almonds. It has a silky texture and a subtle sweetness, with a long, warm finish that is a highlight of this brand. Apart from Wilder Bergkirsch, we also offer the Acher Cherry with a strong 56% ABV, as well as the limited Edelbrand Morellen-Feuer from the 2016 treasure chamber.
