Tenth Ward Brinton's Brandy

This spirit is produced once a year using the apple cider from McCutcheon's Apple Products. The cider is fermented and distilled in-house, and then infused with tart cherries and a slight amount of sweetener. This drink has the taste of cherry pie with a touch of sweetness and a lingering apple flavor. Brinton's Brandy is made in partnership with the National Museum of Civil War Medicine and is named after John Brinton, a well-known Civil War surgeon who was known for using brandy as a bribe. The flavors of apple and tart cherry in this brandy are well-balanced and pleasantly sweet.
