Trimbach Framboise Grande Reserve Raspberry Brandy
In order to achieve its delightful scent, the raspberries are harvested early in the morning. Once carefully inspected, they are placed into vats and left to soak for several weeks to extract the aroma and taste. This maceration process involves using a neutral wine brandy. The steam heated stills are then used during distillation to retain the essence of the original fruit. The distillation is done continuously, removing the initial and final portions to ensure only the best part, known as the heart, is kept. After this, the Framboise Grande Reserve is aged in stainless steel for at least 16 months. It is known for its pristine clarity and pure, lush raspberry fragrance with subtle hints of spices. With a refreshing and pure taste, the raspberry flavors linger on the palate with a long and satisfying finish.
