Weis Slivovitz Alter Pflaumenbrand

In 1924, Georg Weis founded Elztalbrennerei, which has maintained its reputation for producing exceptional and irresistible products. The process for creating their renowned Slivovitz involves distilling sun-ripened plums multiple times in small copper stills using traditional techniques. Only the pure middle portion of the distillation process is utilized to craft the final plum brandy. Following distillation, the plum brandy is aged in wooden barrels, which imparts a distinct golden hue. The taste of the Slivovitz is rich and filled with fruity aromas, enhanced by a delightful hint of bitter almond for an extra touch of flavor. It is best enjoyed cold as either an aperitif or digestif, making it an essential addition to any cheerful gathering after a successful vacation.
