Ziegler Sauerkirsch

The sour cherry brandy eliminates the unwanted stones from the valuable flesh, which is accomplished with the use of a large sieve drum. All the ingredients go through this drum, and the stones are left behind while the pure cherry is fermented. As a result, there is a diminished presence of bitter almond and a more noticeable cherry taste on the palate. Sensory observations include a well-balanced and natural freshness, a rich and vivid fruit flavor, and a long-lasting sensation. The fruit used is sour cherry, a type of small stone fruit.
