Albert Jarraud XO cognac is crafted from Ugni Blanc grapes that undergo double distillation in the Charente style pot still. It is then aged for two decades in oak barrels from Limousin. The Albert Jarreau Brandy House was established in 1875 in the village of Courson, near the town of Angouleme in the Charente region. Later, in 1898, Amadeus Edward Dore acquired the successful company and relocated it to Cognac, where he continued producing cognac under the same brand. As a descendant of a long-standing family and a true cognac enthusiast, Dore created a distinctive brandy that is appreciated for its unique taste. This cognac offers a rich aroma reminiscent of vanilla and chocolate. The flavor profile features hints of dried fruits like prunes and dried apricots.
