Bentwing Brandy, which pays tribute to its aviation history and location at the former Alameda Naval Air Station, combines California ingredients with European heritage. The brandy is made from French and American grapes and is aged in whiskey barrels. While the brandy has a strong initial scent reminiscent of young brandy, with hints of linen, lavender, mothballs, and potpourri, it eventually develops more pleasant aromas of orange blossoms, honey, milk chocolate, and a touch of rum raisin.
