Cerbois XO Bas Armagnac
Description
Armagnac is produced from Cerbois grapes that are grown in the Armagnac vineyards at Maignan-Eauze. The terroir at Maignan-Eauze is highly esteemed and is famous for producing the most exotic and prestigious Armagnacs. The terroir consists of tawny sands, which is an iron-rich sandy soil of ocher color. Armagnac undergoes a single distillation process, resulting in a highly aromatic and flavorful spirit with prune, ripe peach, and walnut aromas. It has a smooth and long-lasting taste that is worth savoring. Cerbois XO Armagnac is made from grapes exclusively from the Grand Bas Armagnac vineyards, which are recognized for producing the finest brandy. Cerbois VSOP Armagnac is made from the Folle Blanche grape variety, an ancient grape variety in southwestern France, which makes it the ideal and traditional grape for this Armagnac. After a double distillation process, it is matured for 18-22 years. It develops delicate aromas of prunes, peaches, and nuts in its bouquet. It has a pleasantly soft taste with a harmonious consistency.
