Chateau du Tariquet produces excellent Bas-Armagnacs that are aged for at least 7 years. They have a perfect balance and a touch of rancio. The aroma is strong and intense, with hints of pastry, spice, and ground ginger. There are also notes of rancio, peels, and pepper. The taste is rich, with flavors of peels, fruits, and a strong presence of woody notes and a subtle touch of vanilla spice. Additionally, there are hints of prunes. The finish is satisfyingly full and long, with an abundance of wood and stewed fruits.
