Comandon VSOP cognac is produced in limited quantities and each bottle is individually numbered. Once the cognac is consumed, it is no longer available. Typically, around 3000 bottles are produced per batch, sometimes less. The average age of this VSOP cognac exceeds the minimum age requirement. These batches of VSOP cognac offer a perfect balance between the freshness and fruity flavors of youth, and the smoothness and depth of flavors expected from much older cognacs. Tasting notes reveal a sweet nose of dried apricot, candied figs, and honey butter. The palate is complex with hints of dried fruits, spices, and the lingering nuttiness found in very old port. The finish is smooth but powerful, with a harmonious blend of fruits and spices.
