At Destilerías Bernal, the spirits and distillates are carefully chosen, just like the raw materials they come from, which go through a detailed aging process. This meticulous process does not allow for large-scale extraction, so there is an annual limit based on the stocks in the warehouse. However, Brandy Constitución is the main product of Destilerías Bernal, and it receives special attention. This brandy is bottled directly from oak barrels made by Catalan craftsmen. We use the finest distillates to produce Brandy Constitución, obtained by distilling wines using traditional methods. The brandy then ages in American oak barrels for many years, following the dynamic Spanish solera system. After this long process, we finally obtain Brandy Constitución. The physical and chemical changes that occur during the aging process, which lasts over 65 years, result in only one liter of Brandy Constitución being obtained from 12.7 liters of brandy. The product comes with a gold or silver chain, depending on customer preference. It has rich aromas, a complex flavor, and a smooth sensation when consumed. The deep mahogany color with a yellow rim indicates extensive barrel aging. The aroma is elegant and intense, with hints of seasoned wood and dried fruit.
