We are inspired by the creativity and fearlessness of American Craft Brewers. We also share their passion for their craft. We are proud to use American Brandy barrels and barrels previously used to finish craft beers to enhance and refine the maturation process of our American Brandy. We aim to infuse the distinct character and personality of the individual beers into our American Brandy with genuine authenticity. Our brandy is aged for a full year in beer barrels. The spirit proof that goes into the barrels is strong, around 130 Proof, in order to extract maximum flavor. We minimize dilution by only adding a small amount of water, allowing the flavors to truly develop and reduce the intensity. Our brandy is pure and does not contain any additives that could affect the authentic flavor from the barrels. It is also not subjected to chill filtering or the addition of boisé or caramel color. The natural color of the spirit comes from the barrel itself. The craft beer barrels have significantly influenced the aroma and taste of the brandy with their unique profiles and personalities. The nose of the brandy invokes thoughts of a Scotch Whisky with notes of smoke, peat, vanilla, oak, and a surprising floral undertone. The taste is fresher than initially expected, with flavors of spearmint, a hint of saltiness, honey, and light caramel. The finish is long and lingers.
