Copper & Kings Un-Aged Apple Brandy
Description
Copper And Kings Un-Aged Apple Brandy is produced in handcrafted copper pot-stills in Louisville, Kentucky. It is made without any additives and does not undergo chill-filtering. The aroma is rustic, with hints of hospital notes, a slightly harsh taste, plenty of floral notes, and a subtle apple flavor. Upon tasting, the apples become more pronounced and are complemented by notes of peppermint and surprisingly, caramel, which is usually associated with aging in barrels. Despite its simplicity, this white brandy effectively captures the true essence of apple. The scent upfront is reminiscent of a unique new-make spirit, featuring baked apples, orange zest, a touch of pepper and spice, and a hint of liqueur sweetness. The flavor on the palate is drier than anticipated, with a somewhat chewy texture. It progresses to include overripe apples, green apples, and apricots. It is a smooth drink and the finish brings forth more baked apples, with a touch of cinnamon-apple crumble.
