Description

Prosper Delord established Delord in 1893, and now Jérôme and Sylvain, his great grandsons, carry on the family tradition with guidance from their father, Jacques. Our vineyard covers 45 hectares and is solely dedicated to producing Armagnac. The grape varieties grown here include Ugni-blanc, Colombard, Baco, and Folle-blanche. The vineyard is situated in Lannepax, in the Bas-Armagnac region of southwest France. Our distillation process employs traditional stills with "spider-legged" trays that provide continuous heating, a characteristic feature of Armagnac production, which is perfect for creating aged Armagnacs. Our cellars house over 1000 offerings that are highly aromatic. The flavors encompass toffee, aged oak, plum, and raisins, resulting in an elegant rancio and a long, smooth finish.
