In 1893, Prosper Delord established the house of Delord after falling in love with Armagnac. The business has been passed down through four generations, with Jerome and Sylvain currently at the helm. The vineyard, located in Lannepax, spans 42 hectares and is home to the traditional Armagnac grape varieties. Rinaldo, the vineyard manager, ensures the vines are diligently cared for throughout the year. Delord offers a range of blends and vintages, using only the finest fruit from the Bas Armagnac region. This particular vintage boasts a delicate nose and complex flavors of dried fruits and vanilla, with hints of pepper, cinnamon, and ginger. The flavor profile includes rich notes of dried fruits, butter, and spices.
