In 1893, Prosper Delord established the house of Delord after falling in love with Armagnac. The business was later taken over by his two sons and then by Jacques and Pierre. Now, Jerome and Sylvain, the 4th generation, continue the family tradition with the same passion. The vineyard, located in Lannepax, consists of 42 hectares and is planted with the traditional Armagnac grape varieties: Ugni Blanc (56%), Colombard (24%), Baco (14%), and Folle-Blanche (6%). Rinaldo, the vineyard manager, takes great care of the vines throughout the year. Maison Delord offers a range of blends aged from three years to over 30 years, as well as vintages from 1900 until now. This esteemed Armagnac house, established in 1893, showcases the seven characteristic notes of nut, peach, violet, lime, vanilla, plum, and pepper.
