Domaine Boingneres 1975 Bas Armagnac
Description
Martine Lafite has skillfully managed Domaine Boingnères in Labastide d'Armagnac since 1953. She represents the fifth generation of winegrowers on this estate created in 1807. Her Armagnac is made with the Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc and Colombard varieties grown on a clay-limestone terroir. This vintage Armagnac was made by traditional means: it was single distilled at a low degree, aged in oak casks, and bottled at its natural strength. It carries the name Armagnac with tremendous pride. This hedonistic brandy is rich and powerful, with notes of cocoa, prune, and almond, and a long finish.
