This mature Guillon Painturaud Hors d'Age Cognac is one of the oldest in the producer's range. It is made from the best eaux-de-vies from Grand Champagne, with each wine aged for approximately 30 years. Even at this great age, the resulting Cognac is still vibrantly fruity and of medium weight. It takes decades of patience for the eaux-de-vie to reach perfection and this Cognac is a testament to that. The Grande Champagne cognacs have been carefully aged for over 25 years. The color of the Cognac is light mahogany and both the nose and mouth reveal notes of candied apricots, citrus zest, and hints of wood and chocolate citrus fruits.
