This latest limited edition of Hennessy's VS is a collaboration between Hennessy and artist Felipe Pantone. During Pantone's first visit to Cognac, France, he had a conversation with Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, the 8th generation Hennessy Master Blender, discussing the similarities between Cognac-making and Pantone's artistic process. According to Pantone, whether in art or Cognac-making, it is important to appreciate the past while constantly reinventing oneself to keep the passion alive. Pantone had access to the Hennessy bottle archives, which inspired his artwork titled W-3 Dimensional Three Stars, incorporating historical elements of Hennessy and his own signature lightning bolt. The flavor profile includes citrus fruits, apple, French oak, grilled almond, and fresh grapes.
